Penelope Andricia (Downie) Frontz, passed on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Kingston of Ashland. She was born in Mansfield on May 19, 1942, to parents Charles and Barbara (Van Antwerp) Downie.
She graduated from Madison High School, class of 1960. She was a nail technician, who owned her own business and always enjoyed speaking with her clients. Her family and grandchildren were very important to her and was proud of watching them grow.
Penelope is survived by her loving children, Skip (Yvette) Frontz and Andricia (Chris) Campbell; grandchildren, Skip Frontz, Jr., Tiffani (Eric) Leibrand, Trent (Sheena) Frontz, John Hale and Brittany Hale; great-grandchildren, Izabelle Leibrand, TJ Frontz, Alexandria Leibrand, and Anna Leibrand; and many other cherished family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
