Loretta “Retta” Lee Hall passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was 63 years old.
She was born on March 14, 1962 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Lovell Sr. and Jocie (Jarrell) Stallard.
Loretta was a longtime member of Journey Life Center and cherished her fellowship at ARC Empowerment Center. She was young at heart, loved to laugh, and brought joy to those around her. Deeply devoted to her faith, she spent countless hours in prayer for her family, and she enjoyed studying her Bible. A Pentecostal to her core, she comes from a long line of believers who are a part of a legacy of God-fearing people. Loretta adored her family and treasured every moment spent together.
She enjoyed getting all dolled up, being pampered, and making those around her feel special. Never knowing a stranger, Loretta adopted many “bonus family members” along the way, embracing everyone with her warmth, generosity, and unconditional love. And though her heart was full of kindness, she also carried a hilarious ornery streak that made her all the more endearing. In spite of Loretta’s many hardships throughout life, her greatest blessings were her family and her faith in the Lord.
She is survived by her daughters Cherry (Jayson) Boyer, Annie (Arlie Thompson) Lykins, and Rebecca (Timothy) Mcnair, step-children Clarence (Lori) Hall and Keith (Jen) Hall, grandchildren Haley (Kanaan) Auflick, Hunter Boyer, Timothy Boyer, Brooklyn (Brice Swindall) Rogers, Breanna (Asa) Tackett, Bryce Thompson, Victorious Nera, Ryker Mcnair, and Rylee Mcnair, several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren Lyla, Nixie, and Anona Tackett, and Hank, Jace Swindall, brother Ronald (Val) Stallard, sister-in-law Debbie Stallard, special friend Jerry Lykins, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Hall, and brothers Lovell Stallard Jr. and Edward Stallard.
Loretta’s family will receive guests on Friday, October 31st, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm in the Snyder Funeral Homes, Marion Avenue Chapel. A funeral honoring her life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial to take place in Mansfield Cemetery immediately after. Pastor Dr. Bruce Philippi will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made directly to the funeral home to assist with end of life expenses.
