Richard “Ricky” L. Jones, age 57, of Mansfield Ohio, passed away on October 26, 2025 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital surrounded by his family following an extended illness. He was born on March 9, 1968 in Sandusky, Ohio to Bernard Jones and Karen (Matthew) Jones.
Ricky mostly grew up in Plymouth Ohio then moved to Shelby Ohio and later on moved to Mansfield.
One of Ricky’s greatest enjoyments was to fish. His proudest achievement was when Ricky bought his first home a few years ago and he was so proud of that. Ricky always tried to make everyone happy. His laugh was contagious and he loved to make everyone smile.
Ricky loved his family and was so proud of them. He will be missed so very much.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Jones; sister, Rebecca Reed and Family; brother, Kurt (Michelle) Jones and family; and brother, Robert (Tuesday) Jones and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Jones.
We, as a family, would like to thank all the nurses and doctors on the third floor of Ohio Health, Mansfield. The whole staff showed our brother and all of us so much respect and kindness.
