ASHLAND – Ehrenkrook Entertainment, a local film production company, will host a premiere for its most recent feature film, From Mystery to Romance.
The event will take place at The Ashland Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person.
From Mystery to Romance is a light-hearted romance about a murder mystery event gone wrong.
The film was shot in Bellville as well as at the Reindeer Grill in downtown Mansfield, in Shelby and in Dublin, Ohio.
All of the actors and crew are located in Ohio, with three of the actors from Richland County. Other actors are from the Cleveland, Toledo, Canton and Dayton areas.
The founder of Ehrenkrook Entertainment, Maude von Ehrenkrook, who grew up in Ontario, Ohio recently moved back to the area and is continuing her film endeavors.
Ehrenkrook Entertainment filmed a previous film, Summertime Christmas, in Richland County in the summer of 2009. Summertime Christmas was filmed in Shelby, Bellville, and at the Richland Carrousel Park in Mansfield with a number of local actors and is available on multiple platforms online.
Ehrenkrook Entertainment is dedicated to growing right here in Richland County and hiring cast and crew from Richland County and Ohio whenever possible.
