Sandra Jean (Brocklesby) Williams passed away at her home with her loving husband by her side in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, on October 17, 2025, after a brief illness.

She passed as she lived – quietly and peacefully. She enjoyed a simple, yet fulfilled life. Her passion was The Ohio State Buckeyes, rarely missing an opportunity to watch a game! A special part of her heart belonged to her four-legged children who crossed over before she passed: Butch, Chester, and most recently, Jackie.

Sandi was born in Galion, Ohio, on June 29, 1949, to Clayton and Martha (Cass) Brocklesby, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Galion Senior High School in 1967, and soon after married Marion “Mark” Williams.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind a son, Gary Williams, and his wife, Margaret (Borders) of Mansfield, a daughter, Cary Johnson and her husband, Brandon of New Port News, VA, five grandchildren, Michael Williams, Abigail Williams, Lindsey Williams, Mason Sparks, Laine Sparks, Tahlia Johnson, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her four siblings, Jim, Kay, Charlie, and David.

Gompf Funeral Service – Galion Chapel is entrusted to serve the family. To honor Sandi’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
