MANSFIELD – The 12th annual Autumn Fiber Festival is set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richland County Fairgrounds, Arts & Crafts Building (750 N. Home Road, Mansfield, Ohio).
This vibrant, volunteer-run event invites fiber enthusiasts, artisans, and the community to celebrate the rich world of natural fibers through a weekend filled with creativity, education, and connection.
Organized entirely by dedicated volunteers, the Autumn Fiber Festival brings together local fiber producers, craftspeople, and artists to showcase and sell their unique fiber-related wares and handmade items.
Attendees can explore a diverse array of offerings, including raw natural fibers from plants and animals, hand-spun and mill-spun yarns, hand-dyed fibers, and one-of-a-kind fiber art.
The festival also features spinning, weaving, knitting, felting, rug hooking, rug braiding, and other demonstrations, offering hands-on learning opportunities for all skill levels.
