Cody James Newton, age 42 of Lexington, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born on September 30, 1982 in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was the beloved son of Carol (Hayes) and Douglas Newton.
Cody was known for his sense of humor and his passion for cars. Cody could make anyone laugh, and he was always the guy who would say the most inappropriate things, in the most serious moments. He had a heart of gold and was willing and ready to help anyone out.
Cody enjoyed spending time with his boys (Braxton and Bryson), his wife (Erica), all his car friends, and, of course, working on cars. His Cadillac was his biggest and best project that was never quite finished.
Cody’s friends and family will remember Cody as a man who brought laughter and light wherever he went.
There will be a celebration of life at Walton Lake Pavilion, Crestline, Ohio on November 1, 2025 from 1 PM to 5 PM.
