A swift early pace pushed Upper Sandusky past Bucyrus Friday 49-14 in an Ohio high school football matchup on Oct. 3.

Upper Sandusky opened with a 14-0 advantage over Bucyrus through the first quarter.

The Rams opened a mammoth 28-0 gap over the Redmen at halftime.

Both teams scored evenly in the third quarter to make it 35-7.

The Rams held on with a 14-7 scoring edge in the fourth quarter.

Last season, Upper Sandusky and Bucyrus faced off on Oct. 4, 2024 at Upper Sandusky High School.

In recent action on Sept. 19, Bucyrus faced off against Sycamore Mohawk and Upper Sandusky took on Bucyrus Wynford on Sept. 19 at Wynford High School.
