MANSFIELD — The Cleveland Clinic Foundation sold their 1125 Aspiria Court location to FG MC II Mansfield LLC for $8,134,000.

Angela Smith, senior director of corporate communications for Cleveland Clinic, said the Clinic is transitioning several of its outpatient facilities from an ownership model to a long-term leasing model. 

The effort is meant to reduce expenses and manage costs effectively, she said. She clarified the sale has not affected their operations and no jobs were impacted by this change. 

“This will reduce maintenance costs and generate additional capital to support facility updates and other health system projects to improve patient care,” Smith said. 

Smith added the Clinic remains committed to the communities they serve and will continue to provide access in each of their locations. According to their website, Cleveland Clinic currently has 315 locations across Ohio.
