Peggy Lee Atkinson Neumann, age 71, of Bucyrus passed away Wednesday September 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born February 26, 1954 in Crestline, she was the daughter of the late Carmon and Catherine (Stratton) Atkinson.
Peggy was a 1972 graduate of Galion High School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 181 in Bucyrus. She enjoyed garage sales and flea markets as well as playing bingo and euchre. Her most precious gift was her family.
She is survived by her daughter Heather (Brian) Goins, son Wesley (Angie) Neumann, three grandchildren: Freda (David Ables) Enderle, Hayley (Dakota Patrick) Clevenger and Lillian Neumann, great-granddaughter Charley Jo Patrick and her cat Jake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Pam Steele, brother-in-law Doug Steele and significant other Jerry Wells.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday September 29, 2025 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joe Stafford officiating.
