Grandparents and other support people are also welcome to attend if new or expecting parents are not available at the time of the event.
“This event is about more than giveaways — it’s about creating connections,” said Ashley Leadingham, Operations & Training Manager at CHAP. “It takes a village to raise a child, and it also takes a village to support parents.”
The event is made possible thanks to generous support from Avita Health System, OhioHealth, and Community Health Access Project, along with many additional sponsors including Akron Children’s Hospital, Richland County Youth and Family Council, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, Third Street Family Health Services, Mechanics Bank, Buckeye Health Plan, and more.
