Beverly Joan Medler

Beverly (Bev) Medler, age 90, of Palm Coast Florida and Ashland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home in Ashland on September 4, 2025.
Born on May 22, 1935. To Clarence and Iva Marie (Stevenson) Medler. Beverly was raised in Daleville, Indiana. After graduating high school, she moved to Illinois where she began her career in telecommunications with the Bell System. Bev later transferred to Bell South/AT&T in Miami, residing in Miami Springs, Florida.
As a young woman in Florida, she enjoyed camping at Beverly Beach, later retiring to nearby Flagler Beach. After meeting Nancy Pore, they moved to Palm Coast, Florida, and Bev became a snowbird, summering in Ohio.
Beverly loved crocheting and playing solitaire mastering thirteen different solitaire games. She found joy in watching the sun rise and set both in Florida and Ohio.
Beverly’s bright blue eyes were unforgettable to anyone who knew her. Her quiet natural warmth and her joyful sense of humor, especially her funny one-liners made it easy for her to connect with people.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the chapel at the First Methodist Church, 12 North Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio. Dress will be causal.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ohio Health Hospice, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
