WOOSTER — Madison’s Colton Adkins took his act on the road Friday night, and what a show it was.

The Rams’ senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns, fired a TD pass, and returned an interception for a pick-6 to lead coach Kobi Johnson’s squad to a 28-17 Ohio Cardinal Conference win at Wooster.

Adkins collected 42 yards on nine carries. He also hit 3-of-7 passes for 100 yards, including 74-yard scoring strike to Julian Washington.

Sophomore Zaydien Longboat gained 50 yards on 13 rushing attempts, and Cayden Moysi added 26 yards on a pair of catches.

Junior linebacker Aiden Proctor spearheaded the Madison defense with two sacks while leading the team in tackles.

The Rams improved to 2-2 overall and are 1-0 in the OCC. Madison will host West Holmes on Friday night.

Wooster falls to 0-4, 0-1. The Generals welcome Lexington to town next week.
