Gloria Jean Gall, 95, of Crestline, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2025, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
Gloria was born on February 27, 1930, in Crestline, to the late George and Golda (Perman) Lacey. Gloria married Richard “Dick” Gall on October 20, 1948, and they spent 27 years together.
Gloria was a graduate of Crestline High School, class of 1948. She explored different careers, finding one of her favorites at the Mansfield News Journal, where she dedicated 15 years.
Gloria was known for her nurturing spirit and her unwavering commitment to her family and community. Her kindness extended beyond her family; she devoted much of her time volunteering at Crestline Hospital, where her compassion touched countless lives.
Gloria also had a passion for ceramics, where she found joy in creating beautiful works of art, often sharing her creations with family and friends. Her warmth and creativity defined her, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Left to cherish Gloria’s memory are her children; Bill (Shelley) Gall of Crestline and Kimberly (Bob) Thurber of Wadsworth; grandchildren; Zach, Jill and Rob; great grandchildren; Skyler, Avery, Miles, Auggie, Mayzie, Rori and sister, Linda Bosco of Mansfield.
In addition to her parents and Dick, Gloria was preceded in death by her siblings; George, Richard, Bev, Dixie, Shirley and Keith.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00am at Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, with Gloria’s son-in-law, Bob Thurber officiating.
