WE WILL BE IN THE PICNIC PAVILLION BY THE SOCCOR FIELDS THIS WEEK!!
All skill levels welcome – from complete beginners to advanced players. Learn the basics or match wits with Chess Master Carl Boor and Queen of America winner Kelly Boor.
If there is enough interest we will run a non rated “Quad” style event(s) with three games of 15 minutes per player. $10 for Quad 1st prize $30 If you are interested in the tournament option please let us know in advance.
What we provide: Chess sets, instruction, and a fun evening!
What you bring: Just yourself and $5 suggested donation
Come learn how to play chess or test your skills against the pros.
