MANSFIELD — What if kindness could fundamentally change the way we show up for each other?

That’s the question at the heart of the newest episode of Better Together, featuring Dr. Arianna Howard — an empath, master trainer, and founder of Arianna Howard Consulting Group.

Howard has worked with more than 8,000 clients on healing, wellness and leadership. She describes herself as a “compassion influencer,” aiming to show how everyday kindness can shift relationships and communities.

“Radical compassion isn’t just kindness — it’s action that changes the nature of a moment,” Howard said.

Raised in a single-parent household as the eldest of three children, Howard shared how her lived experience with poverty, racism and generational trauma shapes her work. She spoke with hosts Maddie Penwell and Brittany Schock about self-care, community care and learning to “practice the pause” in a fast-paced society.

Topics ranged from protecting energy as a highly sensitive person to the non-linear nature of healing. Howard also opened up about becoming an unexpected mother and navigating the identity shift that followed.

“You don’t have to save the whole world, just your world,” she said. “If everyone cared for their sphere of influence, we’d all be cared for.”

The episode closes with a Hearth Moment, a reflective segment that invites listeners to consider one small step toward compassion in their own lives.
