Timmy Deskins, age 69, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 28, 1955, in Willard, Ohio to Charles Vern and Annis Mae (Music) Deskins, he had been a Shiloh resident for the majority of his life. A 1973 graduate of Plymouth High School, Tim was employed at MTD in Willard for over 30 years, retiring in 2018. He also had run “The Hole” in Shiloh for numerous years.

A talented golfer, Tim was a member of the PGCTA – Professional Golf Coach and Teachers Association and was an independent instructor at various golf courses. A natural coach at heart, he enjoyed assisting during baseball seasons with the Shiloh Little League. He loved sports memorabilia and adding various cards and Hot Wheels to his collection. More than anything, he loved to laugh. Having a fantastic sense of humor, in which he proudly passed down to his children and grandchildren, he cherished the time they spent together joking and laughing as a family.

He is survived by his two children, Mandy (Jim) Bricker of Shelby, Tyson (Michelle) Deskins of Shelby; five grandchildren Macie, Chloe & Landon Bricker, and McKenna and Tanyn Deskins; three siblings, Phyllis Arnold of Shelby, Jerry Deskins of Shiloh, Tami (Marvin) Cole of Shiloh; sister-in-law Debbie Deskins of Shiloh; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Joe Deskins, and two nieces, Tonia Shafer and Allie West.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at his daughter Mandy’s home. A private burial will take place at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
