Robert (Bob) Fredric Miller, affectionately known as “RF”, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025. Born on April 25, 1937, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Robert and Lillian Miller, Bob lived a life full of service and song.

A graduate of West Lafayette High School, Bob went on to attend Purdue University. In 1959, he married the love of his life, Diana Kemmer, and together they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and faith.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Diana, and their children Bob (Jalane) Miller and Rhonda Tittle. He was a proud grandfather to Corey (Abbey) Tittle, Megan (Cain) Frazier, Kyle (Kellie) Miller, Rachael (Chad) Lewis, and Lauren (Luke) Brock. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Waylon and Reagan Lewis, Maddie and Lane Miller, and Gus Brock.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sara Lou Lantz.

Bob was an amateur radio operator for over 55 years, known by his call signs WB8GGR and K8RFM. His love for music led him to barbershop harmony, where he was a cherished member of the Fun Center Chordsmen since 2000 and a founding member of the Bravada Quartet.

Bob’s faith was central to his life. He was a dedicated member of Southside Christian Church for over 55 years, where he sang in the choir and served as a deacon, board president, and sound engineer.

His enthusiasm for motorsports was unmatched. From 1983 to 2020, Bob served as a Mid-Ohio Pit Reporter and Crew Chief, bringing energy and insight to the racing community.

Bob also served his country with honor in the U.S. Army from June 1956 to June 1962. His professional life was marked by a 33-year career in marketing within the telephone industry at General Telephone and Sprint.

Bob will be remembered for his outgoing personality and positivity. His legacy will echo in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
