MANSFIELD — The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (MOESC) hosted a highly successful Fall Administrative Conference on Aug. 5, drawing over 250 dedicated administrators from various local districts.

The conference, designed to provide valuable insights and strategies to enhance administrative skills and support the educational community, was met with enthusiasm and engagement from all participants.

The event kicked off with inspiring keynote addresses by Dr. Jim Mahoney and Dr. Daryl Michel. Dr. Jim Mahoney made the audience think, reflect and laugh as he shared stories from his decades of service to public education.

His message inspired leaders who were preparing for another school year, with the ultimate goal of serving all students.

Dr. Daryl Michel shared his leadership theory, practices and process that produce positive results for students.

Dr. Michel’s words focused on the importance of highly effective systems that support school improvement. 

Following the energizing keynote session, attendees participated in various breakout sessions, a legal update keynote, and an informational keynote led by the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA).

These sessions provided a wealth of knowledge and practical strategies for administrators to implement in their respective districts.

The conference marks a fantastic start to the 2025-2026 school year, setting a positive tone for continued growth and collaboration within the educational community.

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 13 school districts and over 20,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties.

Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
