Roger E. Carroll, age 74 of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Avita Health System – Ontario Hospital. He was born on March 26, 1951, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to the late Glen and Helen (Binion) Carroll, and on September 19, 1980, he married his beloved wife, Beatrice K. (Gibbs).
Roger spent most of his life as a mechanic and an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as walks in the woods with his wife. He kept chickens and bred all different breeds of dogs. He was the type of person who enjoyed joking around with people and helping anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife Beatrice Carroll; his children Eric Dininger, Christina McDowell, Roger L. Carroll, and Judy Carroll; his grandchildren Ashley, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Kaden, and Corianna; his brother Casey Carroll; his special nephew Elden Lee Carroll; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Helen Carroll and his siblings Gary Carroll, Judy Pittman, and Larry Carroll.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mansfield Cemetery.
