MANSFIELD – The 2025 Richland County Fair kicks off on Sunday with its annual week of family-friendly fun, livestock shows, entertainment and delicious food choices.
This year’s event runs through Aug. 9 at the fairgrounds, 750 N. Home Road.
The fair will celebrate a huge milestone of 175 years with wide variety of activities and events for all ages.
Christy Keith, board president of the Richland County Agriculture Society, showcased her enthusiasm for all the fair offers this year.
“This year, the fair is bringing back concerts to the grandstand after a few years. On Tuesday, Aug. 5, Christian artists Riley Clemons will be taking the stage at 7 p.m., followed by Jordan Feliz at 8:15 p.m.,” Keith said.
Keith also said there is also a beautiful mural located at the back of the grandstand that highlights the history of the fair.
“Drew Anderson studied the history in the Sherman Room, at the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library, before starting the mural and found things out about the fair that even we didn’t know,” Keith said.
Brunon Blaszak’s Royal Bengal Tiger Show will be new this year, bringing excitement and thrills for the kids’ zone activities.
“We also have weiner dog races that are new this year. They will be directly following the harness racing,” Keith said.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. daily. After 10 p.m. each day, there will be no entry.
