Alexzandra Lynn West, age 31, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on her parent’s anniversary on August 17, 1993, in Shelby, Ohio to John and April (Senter) Gies.

Allie went to Plymouth High School and attended Pioneer her junior and senior years, where she graduated from in 2011. She went on to college at BGSU Firelands and Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing to get her nursing degree. Later, she attended Ohio University where she received her BSN in nursing and graduate with honors. She worked as an RN at Firelands Regional Medical Center, The Willows, and Ohio Health in Mansfield. During her stay at Ohio Health, she took care of many covid patients and helped save many lives. She was currently employed with Pathways Hospice, where she served as a Case Manager where she helped people pass away with respect and dignity. Allie was a kind, compassionate soul which shown especially bright as her time as a nurse. She loved what she did and was well respected in her career by her fellow peers and was a hero to her friends and family. Allie was involved with girl scouts for 12 years. Allie was also involved with People to People Student Ambassador Program where she traveled to Europe. She also participated with Buckeye Girl State. She was an avid scrapbooker and enjoyed doing photography.

Allie married her high school sweetheart, Robert West on October 13, 2018, where they had a Halloween themed wedding reception. Halloween was her absolute favorite holiday and her annual favorite movie to watch was The Nightmare Before Christmas. Her and Bob enjoyed watching various movies, doing crafts, and reading together. They both shared a love for their fur babies and adopting new ones.

Allie is survived by her loving husband, Robert West IV; her parents, John and April Gies; her brother, Daren Gies; mother-in-law, Tami (Marvin) Cole; father-in-law, Robert West III (Shelli Travis); brother-in-law, Dylan West; niece, Lillian West; grandmother-in-law, Joann West; her beloved fur babies, Spaz, Butterscotch, Postman, Doug, Pluto and Mocha; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Larry and Mary Senter; paternal grandparents, Paul and Annabelle Gies; cousin, Angel Senter; Grandparents-in-law, Robert West Jr. “Biff” and Charles and Annis Deskins.

Calling hours will be on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Life Point Community Church in Plymouth, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Allie’s funeral service will be on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Life Point Community Church in Plymouth, Ohio.
