Rose Mary Martin, 83, of Mansfield passed away July 24, 2025 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
Rose Mary was born May 20, 1942 in Goshen, Indiana to Vernon and Vada Hostetler Martin. For 42 years she worked in the medical field at different offices in Indiana, Cape Coral Florida and at MedCentral in Mansfield. Rose Mary enjoyed reading, knitting, playing bingo and euchre along with any walks along a beach. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and volunteered for many years at Catholic Charities Food Pantry.
Survivors include her sister Velores Smith of Indiana; brother Robert (Lenore) Martin of North Carolina; nieces and nephews; and best friends Robert & Sally Vaccaro along with their children and family who all held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother David Martin.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, August 16 at St. Peters Catholic Church, 60 S. Mulberry Street. Visitation will take place an hour prior at the church. Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 19, 2025 in Violet Cemetery in Goshen, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Food Pantry in Mansfield.
