ONTARIO — Duana Patton, Chief Executive Officer of Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., has been elected to serve as President of the Board of Directors for USAging.
The announcement was made during the 50th annual USAging Conference and Tradeshow July 20 to 23. Patton’s two-year term as Board President officially began on Wednesday, July 23.
She joined the board in 2018, starting her service as an alternate member representing Region V.
As Board President, Patton will lead the national board in shaping policy and advancing programs that promote healthy aging and independent living.
Her election reflects her longstanding commitment to advocating for older adults and her respected leadership at local, state and national levels.
“Duana’s election as President of the USAging Board is a testament to her outstanding leadership and commitment to serving older adults,” said Jason Painley, Corporate Board President at Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc.

USAging represents and is the membership association for Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI Native American Aging Programs across the country.
They play a critical role in driving innovation, strengthening local services, and informing national policy around aging issues.
