Michael D. Rohal, Jr., 87, of Mansfield passed away July 22, 2025 at his home after a short illness.
Mike was born January 21, 1938 in Steubenville, Ohio to Michael and Rita Thompson Rohal. He was a 1956 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. He was employed by the Ohio Department of Highways, was a manager at Mansfield Asphalt and later was Vice President of the asphalt division at Kokosing Construction Company. Mike was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 687, and the 4th Degree Assembly No. 821. He loved golfing, traveling, fishing with his granddaughters, and you’d always find him and his wife walking the neighborhood.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Judith Ann Woodard; son Jeff (Sue) Rohal, daughter Michelle (Kenneth) Lake; granddaughters Jennifer Lake, Kelly Lake; sister-in-law Pat Rohal; nephews Brian, Todd and Andy Rohal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jon Rohal.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 26 from 10:00 – 11:30 am at Herlihy Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West. Private family burial will be held later at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
