Carrol J. Henry, age 92 of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1932, in Crestline to the late John E. and Cecil M. (Koontz) Beach, and on June 6, 1954, she married her beloved husband, Wayne A. Henry.
Carrol attended St. John’s United Church of Christ, and she was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post #16, VFW 9943, and Sons of Herman. She dedicated much of her life to caring for her family, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She used to enjoy going dancing with her husband, and more recently, they enjoyed taking bus trips together. She liked to stay busy, and she enjoyed tending to her garden and playing the slots at the casino.
She is survived by her children: Marchell C. Ellis, Michael E. Henry, and Mark W. (Elfriede) Henry; her grandchildren: Alexandra (Corey) Gates, Rick Ellis, Leah Ellis, Mandy (Chris) Koenig, Jessica (Joel) Watts, Marcus Henry, Elizabeth (Blake) Styles, and Brooke (Todd) Russell; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Henry in 2016; her parents, John and Cecil Beach; and her siblings: Paul E. Beach, Elmer B. Beach, Winona M. Forshaw, and Lloyd G. Beach.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Services will take place at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Faith Proietti officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park.
