ONTARIO — Two suspects were detained at an Ontario residence Thursday and are under investigation for allegedly receiving stolen property, according to the Ontario Police Department.
The Ontario Police Department and the Richland County Allied Special Operation Response Team, in coordination with the Mansfield Police Department, joined forces Thursday in executing a search warrant at a home on Chambers Road.
It all began after law enforcement officers received reports of a trailer allegedly taken from Mansfield, according to a press release Thursday evening from the Ontario Police Department.
Ontario officers responded and obtained enough information to obtain a search warrant for the home.
Ontario crime scene investigators processed the scene and collected evidence, which is currently being inventoried and investigated, according to the department.
The trailer was recovered for the victim, according to the release.
Charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review, according to police.
