SHELBY — The public is invited to the Marvin Memorial Library’s fourth-annual “End of Summer Reading Block Party and Cruise-In” on Friday, July 18, from 5 to 7 pm.
This year’s event will include a car show, music, street magic, games, prizes and snacks, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
Three judges will choose 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the car show. An overall fan favorite will also be chosen.
Car show prizes and sponsors include:
1st Place — Advance Auto Parts Car Detailing Bucket and four tickets to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum
2nd Place — Auto Zone Car Detailing Bucket and two tickets to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum
3rd Place — O’Reilly Car Detailing Bucket and two tickets to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum
The crowd-selected fan favorite will win two tickets to a Cleveland Monsters Hockey Game.
All adults in attendance (with or without cars) will have the chance to win a door prize of two tickets to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. There will also be door prizes for children.
