Danny Perry, 72, sadly passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a fighter until the very end, facing every challenge with quiet strength and unwavering determination.

Danny was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Miranda; his beloved mother and father, Juanita and Leonard Floro; Joseph and Bertha Perry; and his special brothers, Timmy and Billie Ray. Each held a meaningful place in his heart and life, and their memories remained with him always.

Danny was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Mary. Their remarkable love story began on January 10, 1976, and only grew stronger with time. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with four children: Miranda, who was called to Heaven at birth, Daniel, Wendy, and Kyle.

Danny’s heart overflowed with pride for his seven grandchildren—Kayne, Jordan, Alexis, Kamden, Karsyon, Zeighla, and Zella—and three great-grandchildren—Penelope, Dakotta, and Everleigh. Each one brought him immeasurable joy and lit up his world in a special way.

After 42 years of dedicated service with the Railroad, Danny embraced retirement with gratitude and enthusiasm. He continued to work with his son Daniel as a tree groundman. He loved to keep busy and his endless love for fishing daily. He spent his golden years traveling with Mary and their daughter Wendy, with Tennessee being a favorite destination.

He treasured peaceful car rides to his favorite fishing spots, shared with his daughter Wendy, and had three cherished fishing buddies: Benny, Dwain, and Rocky.
Danny loved the simple pleasures in life—playing poker with his family, sipping McDonald’s coffee with his wife, and spending quiet afternoons on the back porch. He had a particular fondness for anyone who brought him donuts, a gesture that never failed to bring a smile to his face.

Above all, Danny was a man with a big heart. He loved deeply, gave freely, and would help anyone in need without hesitation. His warmth, strength, and quiet wisdom left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Though Danny’s presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Dad, now you have endless bait to fish Heaven’s pond. Until we meet again, I’ll be missing you every day — Love Sis.

“A heartfelt thank you to his two angels, Vickie and Joyce, for their love, care, and unwavering support.”

We begin to remember not that you have died, but that you have lived. And your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
