MANSFIELD — This summer, experience the magic, music, and heart of one of the most beloved stories of all time as the Renaissance Theatre presents The Wizard of Oz as its 2025 Summer Musical.

Audiences of all ages are invited to travel over the rainbow with Dorothy and friends during four enchanting performances:

Wizard of Oz showtimes

  • Saturday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 27 at 2:30 p.m. (includes a free post-show Yellow Brick Picnic)
  • Saturday, August 2 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 3 at 2:30 p.m.

Presented as part of the Park National Bank Broadway Series, this production is made possible with additional support from Brightspeed, Jay and Amy Goyal, J & B Acoustical, K.E. McCartney, and Ohio Mutual Insurance Group.

Directed by Michael Thomas, with Associate Artistic Director Ryan Shealy, Musical Director Kelly Knowlton, and a talented creative team, the show brings to life the unforgettable journey of Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and Toto, as they search for home, heart, courage, and wisdom in the magical Land of Oz.

“The Renaissance creative team has pulled out all the stops to present their own vision of L. Frank Baum’s classic story, while also paying homage to the beloved 1939 film starring Judy Garland,” says Director Michael Thomas.

“The colorful tale comes to life with all the special effects, gorgeous musical score, and all the laughs and thrills that have made The Wizard of Oz a part of our lives for nearly 125 years.”
