Gary Douglas Winfrey, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 20, 2025, at his home. Gary was born on September 19, 1957, in Mansfield, Ohio to Carrie V. Winfrey (Hall) and Harry H. Winfrey.
Gary was employed at Amerascrew Inc. in Mansfield, Ohio where he worked for over 45 years as a CNC operator. Gary was mechanically inclined, always fixing something. He showed pride in his vehicles and taking care of them.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Teri N. Winfrey; mother, Carrie Winfrey; two sisters, Juda Austin and Linda Cope; and a brother, Harry E. Winfrey. Gary is preceded in death by his father, Harry H. Winfrey; and a sister, Kimberly Shaw.
Family and friends may gather on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm.
