MANSFIELD — The Charter Next Generation family is reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to share the story of the beloved Devin Guardiola — a vibrant, loving father, and friend — who is now facing the greatest battle of his life: leukemia.

Devin’s story

Devin was recently diagnosed with leukemia, a life-altering and aggressive blood cancer that has turned his and his family’s world upside down. What started as fatigue quickly escalated into an urgent hospital visit, and within days, the diagnosis came.

He is currently undergoing intensive treatment, and exploring what options he has for trials to help prolong his time with us.

As anyone who knows Devin can tell you, he is the kind of person who lights up every room with his kindness, humor, and unwavering positivity. He is a devoted father to his children, a loving boyfriend to his girlfriend, and a loyal friend to so many. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

Why we’re asking for help

Devin’s illness has not only taken a physical and emotional toll on him and his family, but it’s also brought immense financial strain. Between hospital bills, travel, medications, and time away from work, the financial burden is overwhelming.

Your donation will go directly toward:

Medical expenses not covered by insurance

Travel and lodging costs for treatments out of town

Household and family expenses while Devin is unable to work

Long-term recovery and rehabilitation care

Every dollar counts, and no amount is too small. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who might be able to contribute.

Standing strong together

Devin has always been the one to show up for others — now he needs us to show up for him. Your support will not only ease the financial strain on his family but also lift their spirits and remind them they are not alone in this fight.

There are two direct ways to help support Devin and his family:

There will be a Benefit Dinner at the Local at 97 (58 St. Rt. 97 Lexington, Ohio) on Sunday, June 29 from 4 to 9 p.m.
