Harold Swiger, age 75, of Jeromesville, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the early morning hours at his home following an extended illness. He was born September 12, 1949, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to the late Hayward and Daisy (Heflen) Swiger.

Harold was a veteran of the US Army. A resident of Mansfield for over 40 years, he retired from Crane Plumbing. After retirement, he began working at Meijer. Harold’s favorite hobby was collecting and reading about trains. He also enjoyed watching a good storm, going to the lake, and visiting lighthouses. His most favorite time was being around his family, who brought him the greatest joy.

Harold is survived by his significant other, Deb Stacco; three sons, Robert (Vicki) Swiger, James (Michelle) Swiger, and Jason (Holly) Swiger; three daughters, Deborah (Marvin) Swiger, Michelle (Jim) Perman, and Heather (Josh) Harris; fifteen grandchildren, Bruce Viers, Matthew, Cole, Hunter, Ethan and Emily Swiger, Ashley Thomas, Elizabeth and Adryanna Swiger, Sierra Sprang, Tricia, Britany and Louie IV Lambert, and Austyn and Haley Perman; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Swiger; second wife, Martha Swiger; and nephew, Pat Murphy.

A private family burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park.
