MANSFIELD — The Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment held its monthly belt promotion on Saturday, June 7. Senior Instructor Sensei Amber Bogner led the event while Sensei Reneta Music attended the Ontario Children’s Festival.
Due to summer vacations, attendance was lower than usual. However, the students who were present showcased their dedication and earned their next belt promotion at the non-profit facility.
Andy Ditlerson was awarded Student of the Month. He has been focusing on improving his self-control in class, which had previously affected his ability to learn the necessary skills for his belt. This past month, Andy made significant progress in self-control, leading to his recognition as Student of the Month and his promotion to a yellow belt.
