Kelli Michelle Thomas, age 33, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at OhioHealth, Mansfield. Born on January 28, 1992, in Shelby, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of William Carpenter, Jr. and Tracy Hall Carpenter Showecker (Blake Cyrus).
She was a hard worker at Subway and had many jobs throughout her life, working to provide for her children. Kelli dearly loved her children and cared for each one the same. A friend to all, she had many friends. She dearly loved her husband and enjoyed spending time with her husband, sharing 17 years together. Kelli was a strong woman who bravely faced the obstacles of life.
She is survived by her husband, Lance T. Thomas; her parents; children, Ijuna`e Thomas, Lance Thomas Jr., Ziaire Thomas, Makiah Thomas, Ziasia Thomas, Sylis Banks, Terell Thomas, Micah Thomas, Monica Thomas, and Maxwell Thomas; sister Meagan Hoffman.
She is also survived by sibling-in-laws, Jessica Morgan, April Thomas, Robert Harris, Crystal Reed, Difranko Thomas, Anetra Carter, Brian Reed, Rudy Reed, and Ciara Pittman; mother-in-law Monica Carter; grandmother Wanda Carpenter; aunts and uncles, Shelly (Dave) Crace, Terry Hall, Debra (James) Jones and Veronica (Timothy) Groff; nieces and nephews, Kaylynn Carpenter, Zia Thomas, William Morgan, and Amia Thomas; close friends, Tiffany Baker and Rachael Massey; and many cherished family and friends.
Kelli was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert (Jo-Ann) Hall, William Carpenter, Sr., and father-in-law, Clarence “Fox” Reed.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. The funeral will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
