Patricia E. Reiter (Browne), 85, passed away peacefully Monday, June 10 th at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Paul Reiter whom she married on June 15, 1957.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Reiter Hopkins, sons John E. Reiter (Karen), and Stephen Reiter (Sue), her grandchildren, Lindsey Hall (Greg), Lauren Price (Eric), Luke Hopkins, John K. Reiter (Shelby), Nicole Reiter, and Jacob Reiter (Katelyn) as well as 6 great grandchildren.
She was a devoted member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church and was very active in several groups there. She will be missed by her many friends at GUMC. Special thanks to Pastor Andrew Singh for the visits, songs, and prayers many times he had with Patricia.
Patricia was a Methodist pastor for 25 years and her ministry took her to several United
Methodist churches in the East Ohio Conference including Sulphur Springs, Mt. Gilead,
Byesville, and her final church before retiring was in Loudonville where she met her very best friend Cyndi Ritterspach Janeczek. Cyndi and Pat went on many scrapbook adventures looking for the perfect paper, stencils, and books to display their talents. The scrapbooks are a true legacy and will be treasured by her family for many years.
Pat enjoyed her garden, Bible Journaling, and attending her Bible studies. Most importantly she loved her family and looked forward to the times when everyone was gathered. Her birthday would’ve been November 30 th and she wanted a big party this year to celebrate all the good times she’s had in her life. Please celebrate her on that date as she will forever be in our hearts.
Friends may call Monday, June 16, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will follow at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
