MANSFIELD — The Midwest’s newest vintage motorcycle show will roll into Mansfield this weekend.
The inaugural “Party At The Pen East” will showcase the best 1960s and ’70s style choppers at The Ohio State Reformatory’s prison yards and cell blocks.
The event takes place Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Charity raffle proceeds will benefit Wounded Warriors Family Support, which is an independent nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations. The organization is run by combat veterans for combat veterans. Last year, Party At The Pen raised more than $25,000 through giveaways and donations to Wounded Warriors Family Support.
Party At The Pen East will showcase the American Motor Drome Company Wall of Death with motorcycle daredevils who travel along a vertical wall to perform tricks, fancy riding and acrobatics. Additional information is available at east.partyatthepenshow.com.
The Ohio State Reformatory will be open for tours during Party at the Pen, but guests will have to buy a ticket to the show for admission to the grounds. Tickets will be available online in advance as well as at the gate on the day of the show.
