MADISON TOWNSHIP — The Madison Comprehensive High School Class of 2025 — 209 members strong — became the 100th graduating class in school history on Sunday afternoon during commencement exercises inside a packed junior high school gymnasium.
Opening remarks were offered by Sydney Phillips, one of the class valedictorians. Graduate addresses came from Dryden Durbridge, Angela Williams and Samantha Myers, also class valedictorians.
Other valedictorians were Aleigha Bebout, Emily Bogner, Ryleigh Foley, Elijah Fox, Hannah Markley, Gage Masters, Jada Neal, Ian Parker and Angela Williams. Isaiah Ortiz-Martinez was the class salutatorian.
Board of Education President Douglas Mosier accepted the Class of 2025 as presented by high school Principal Sean Conway.
Class President Braden Nungester led the “turning of the tassels” ceremony after diplomas were presented and offered closing remarks to graduates.
The class motto was “Looking ahead, but remembering our past.” “Never Grow Up” by Taylor Swift was the class song and the white carnation was the class flower. The class colors were green and white.
