MANSFIELD — A 49-year-old Mansfield woman was charged with multiple felony offenses Thursday after the METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a drug-related search warrant at 3230 Possum Run Road.
Marie Branham appeared Friday in Mansfield Municipal Court, charged with drug possession/drug abuse and having a weapon under disability, according to online court records.
Bond was set at $75,000 and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 5.
According to Mansfield police Lt. Steve Blust, METRICH detectives were assisted in the search warrant execution by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives seized 14 grams of suspected cocaine, cash, a Hi-Point .40 cal handgun and other drug related evidence, Blust said.
Branham was incarcerated on a prior warrant for failure to appear and also charges of third-degree felony possession of cocaine and third-degree felony having weapons under disability. Blust said she was also charged with three counts of drug trafficking, third- and fourth-degree felonies.
Further drug-related charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office, according to Blust.
“The METRICH Enforcement Unit will continue to target those bringing and distributing illegal drugs within our community and encourage citizens to continue to report suspected drug activity,” Blust said.
