Ramona Jean Bauer, beloved wife, mother, Grandma, Nana, Meme, Gigi, Nanny, 83, of Marblehead, Ohio joined the Lord, May 23, 2025.
Ramona was born in Sulphur Springs, Ohio to Herrietta (Greene) and Myron Eichelberger. Ramona graduated from Crestline High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, John Bauer, in 1957 with whom she built a beautiful life and was happily married for 67 years.
Ramona had a green thumb and enjoyed caring for her flowers and plants. Ramona and John spent 31 winters in Florida where she enjoyed the sunshine, beach walks and bocce ball. She had fun playing cards and rooting for the Cleveland Indians. She deeply loved her family and her beloved fur babies.
She is survived by her husband, John Bauer; daughter Sherry Law (Chad) of Milan, OH, son Jeffrey Bauer (Dina) of Vermilion, OH, son-in-law Michael Wise of Crestline OH, brother Rex Eichelberger of Crestline OH, Grandchildren: Jennifer Law, Matthew Law, Ashley Law-Erhardt, Drew Bauer, Jade Anderson, Shannon Blocker, Jeremy Wise, Brandon Wise, Great-Grandchildren: Finnegan Blocker, Henry Blocker, Madison Wise, Sam Wise, Max Wise, Taylor Laughlin, Aiden Law, Alexander Law, Arthur Law, Augustino Law, River Erhardt, Stowe Bauer, Lawrence Anderson IV, Cooper Anderson, Great-great Grandchildren: Tobias Ross and Mavis Ross.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tamara Wise; sister, Sandra LeMaster; brother, Max Eichelberger; nephew, Chad Eichelberger, and her parents.
Calling hours will be held at Gompf Funeral Service – Crestline Chapel, 223 W. Main St. Crestline, Ohio 44827 on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 11:00am with service following at 1:00pm. Burial to immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
