Tamara Lynn Whiteside, age 55 of Shelby Ohio passed away on May 10, 2025 at her home following an eight month battle with cancer. On November 10, 1969 she was born in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of Mary Adkins in Bernard McDonald. On February 10, 2001 she married James Scott Whiteside in Dixon, Missouri and together they shared 24 years together.
Tamara had made many friends during her volunteer work at Stampede of Dreams and during her eight years of 4-H with her daughter. She enjoyed farming, writing, painting, and spending time with family and riding her horses. Her ability to put words into pictures through her stories as well as being able to laugh and accept every person that came into her life is what made her unique.
She is survived by her husband, Scott; daughter, Olivia; son, Zachary Sechrist and grandson, Mason Sechrist.
She was preceded in death by her father and other close relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM at Ohio Cremation And Memorial Society, 9 Chambers Rd. Mansfield, OH 44906
