Robert E. “Bob” Trisler, age 87 of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1937, in Mansfield to the late William R. and Rachel (Snyder) Trisler.
Bob was enlisted in the United States Army Reserves, and he went on to work for General Motors for over 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking and bowling, and you could often find him planting flowers in his garden.
He is survived by his sons Bob (Betty Jo) Trisler and Tim (Cheryl) Trisler.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Virginia C. (Cox) Trisler, and his parents William and Rachel Trisler.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Services will take place at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
