MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Division of Police hosted its 10th annual “Bike-a-Palooza” Saturday at North Lake Park.
The free, family-friendly event offered a variety of bike and safety-themed activities, including bike ride with a copy, a bicycle safety rodeo, bike giveaway drawings, bike inspections and small repairs, a bounce house and complimentary refreshments.
The Mansfield Fire Department brought its “House of Hazards” to teach children about fire safety. Kids also had a chance to sit inside a real fire truck and spray a fire hose.
Each child who registered for the event received a free bicycle helmet.
