Obituary for Patricia “Patty” Lynn Woodmansee:

Patricia “Patty” Lynn (Clawson) Woodmansee, 69 of Crestline, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Galion Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

Patty was born on September 11, 1955, in Bucyrus to the Keith and Shirley (Ryman) Clawson. She married Charles “Charlie” Woodmansee on September 21, 1974, and he survives her in Crestline.

Patty was a graduate of Buckeye Central High School, class of 1972. After high school, Patty attended nursing school, obtaining her degree in 1973 as an LPN. She spent her career working for Shelby and Crestline hospitals, as well as Crestline Nursing Home.

Patty was a devoted wife to her husband Charlie Woodmansee. A compassionate caregiver, Patty dedicated much of her life to caring for others, embodying the essence of kindness and selflessness. She had a profound love for her pets, especially Leo, her American eskimo; often finding joy in the company of her cats and dogs, who brought happiness to her life.

Left to cherish Patty’s memories are her husband of 50 years, Charlie Woodmansee; her mother, Shirley Clawson; daughter, Pamela Woodmansee of Mansfield, grandchildren; Kaitlyn Robinson of Mansfield and Cloe Taylor of Mansfield; great-grandchildren; Adilynn Jenkins and Izabella Robinson; as well as her brothers, Bill Clawson and Larry (Nancy) Clawson, both of Tiro and stepsiblings, Ryan “Barney” Clawson and Rochell.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Keith Clawson and her daughter, Katrina Gibson.

Friends may call on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Gompf Funeral Service – Crestline Chapel, 223 W. Main St., Crestline. A service will immediately follow at 4:00pm with Pastor Joe Stafford officiating. Patty will be laid to rest at Crawford County Memory Gardens at a later date.
