MANSFIELD — The Mansfield community is invited to an evening of unity, celebration, and positive engagement at the 2025 Peace on My Block Community Fair, which will take place Thursday, May 22, at 5:15 p.m. at Arlin Field.

In its annual return, the Peace on My Block initiative continues its mission of promoting peace, safety, and a sense of shared responsibility across our neighborhoods. The event will feature the following family-friendly activities:

  • Horseback riding
  • Bounce houses
  • Inflatable obstacle courses
  • Face painting
  • Community Resources Partners (games and prizes)
  • Prize Giveaways
  • Food trucks
  • 4x F-16 Military fly over by the 180th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard, Toledo, Ohio
  • Special appearance by local legend Connie Mason, who will be singing our National Anthem.
  • Fireworks by Tony Kilgore – Northeast Pyrotechniques

Designed to bring people of all backgrounds together, the fair aims to strengthen bonds among residents, schools, churches, and service organizations in Mansfield.

“We believe that peace starts with presence —when people come together in joy and support, they create a ripple effect,” said Tom Hager and John Beasley, co-organizers of the event.

“Peace on My Block is about showing up for each other, and Arlin Field is the perfect space to do just that.”

The event is free and open to the public, with activities planned for all ages. Students must be K-8 and accompanied by an adult. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy a night of connection, entertainment, and shared purpose.
