It is with broken hearts and treasured memories we announce the passing of our loving and beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin, Dustin Edward “Dusty” Yockey. Dustin was born in Mansfield, Ohio to David Allen Yockey and Nikki Lynn (Sims) Yockey, where he attended Madison High School.

After his first job during high school, Dustin supported himself working as a roofer and in various industries with his most recent employment being at Taylor Metal Products.
Dustin was a talented drummer and big sports fan. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams with his brother Dave, nephew, David, and cousins and friends. Having an infectious smile and playful demeanor, Dustin brought joy and laughter to get-togethers with family and friends.

Dustin is survived by his mother, Nikki L. Yockey; brother, David A. Yockey II; half-brother, Bryan Yockey; stepmother, Janet Yockey; stepbrother, George Brown; stepsister, Elizabeth Sweeney; niece, Paige Yockey; nephew, David A. Yockey III; aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, David A. Yockey; maternal grandparents, Donald and Nikki Sims; paternal grandparents, Clarence Yockey and Grace (Zimmerman) Yockey.

A memorial service to honor Dustin’s life will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 2:00PM at Grace Episcopal Church, 41 Bowman Street, Mansfield, Oh 44903. Rev. Daniel Orr will officiate. Family and friends are invited to share pictures, stories, or fondest memories both one hour before and after the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Episcopal Church in Dustin’s memory.
