It is with great sadness that we share news of the death of Mary Anne Ott on March 28, 2025. Mary Anne was born in Mansfield, Ohio on October 27, 1954 to David and Clara Ott.
During her school years she was a gymnast, cheerleader, and diver. She worked as a pharmacy tech in both Ohio and Arizona, and many other jobs throughout the years.
Mary Anne had such an amazing sense of adventure and wonder of the natural world. A lifelong learner with many skills, she was always finding something new to share with family and friends. Her spirituality was visible all around her life.
Although she loved all animals, horses were one of her favorites, and she had a degree in Equine Massage. She could lead you to every bald eagle nest in the area. The Ohio Bird Sanctuary was a favorite place to go to rejuvenate, as were Clear Fork Reservoir and Mount Jeez at Malabar Farm.
She loved Halloween the best of all the holidays and enjoyed decorating for it.
She is survived by brothers Rick and Dave, sisters Kathie and Ginny, and eight nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the family plot in Mansfield Cemetery.
