MANSFIELD — The Richland County Dog Warden & Adoption Center and Down Dog Yoga & Lifestyle Studio are partnering on National Rescue Dog Day on May 20.
The kennel is extending its hours on that day from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to allow more meet-and-greet adoption opportunities at the kennel at 810 N. Home Road.
At the event, organizers will spotlight the dogs who have been at the kennel the longest with their own booths.
Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to go into the kennels to see all of the dogs who need a home.
The Truckin Trav food truck will be at the site, along with Pet Supplies Plus and other local vendors.
Down Dog Yoga & Lifestyle Studio will also have prizes and giveaways.
