Trash can dedication on 05/06/2025

I am writing to invite you to cover a special community event in the village of Lucas, showcasing a meaningful collaboration between the Lucas Lions Club, the Pioneer Career Center, and our village. Your presence would help highlight the dedication of our students and community members to improving our village.

Recently, the village of Lucas identified a need for replacement outdoor trash cans. The Lucas Lions Club reached out to the Pioneer Career Center, where talented students, under the guidance of their faculty, designed, constructed, and painted new trash cans to meet the need. Their hard work and creativity have resulted in a project that not only enhances our village but also demonstrates the power of community partnership.

To celebrate this achievement, we are hosting a presentation on May 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the village of Lucas. The event will bring together students, faculty, Lucas Lions Club Members, village council members, and Mayor Todd Hall to unveil the trash cans and recognize everyone involved. It promises to be an uplifting occasion, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and pride in the community.
