Obituary for Linda Kump:
Linda Jean (DelGreco) Kump, 77, of Galion, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, after a few years of declining health.
Linda was born on August 1, 1947, to the late Eugene and Anne (Breschiani) DelGreco. She married Stephen B. Kump on November 25, 1972, and he survives her in Galion.
Linda graduated from Crestline High School in 1965. Following high school, Linda worked for PPG in Crestline for 10 years. She then obtained her realtor license in 1983. Starting her career as a realtor, Linda managed Sluss Reality in Bucyrus. She then started Presidential Homes Reality in 1993 with offices in Galion, Bucyrus, and Marion, in which she operated until her retirement in 2019. Linda attended online college courses to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in management and real estate, and received her degree in 2006.
Linda was part of the Professional Businesswomen’s Group of Ohio. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crestline. In her free time, Linda enjoyed fishing and boating at Lake Erie with her husband, Steve.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of compassion and care, especially for animals, as she had a lifelong love for cats and was known for rescuing countless strays throughout her life.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Stephen B. Kump.
Linda was preceded in death by her brother, James DelGreco, and her infant sister, Sharon Ann DelGreco.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Gompf Funeral Service – Galion Chapel, 303 Portland Way N., Galion. The service will immediately follow at 1:00pm with Father Jeff Smith officiating. After the service, a burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Crestline.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, serving Crawford County, 3590 OH-98, Bucyrus, OH 44820.
